To the tune of “She’ll Be Coming ‘Round the Mountain”
Babies cannot see in color when they’re born
They can only see their mother when they’re born
No, they can’t see any farther than their mother and their father
Babies cannot see in color when they’re born
You know the light goes in your eyeball through a lens
So don’t poke it with a pencil or with pens!
Oh, the lens will help you focus on a dandelion or crocus
Yes, to focus light your eyeball needs a lens!
There are rods and cones in back of every eye
Two kinds of cells to catch the light and this is why:
Rods resolve the light you see, so you see things in HD
While the cones catch the colors in your eye
